History of Coffee Maker
The story of coffee makers is a treasure trail of art, craftsmanship and ingenuity, hidden behind the three and a half centuries of a commerce in coffee.
In 575 AD Turkish Ibrik was designed to be heated in desert sand to brew coffee. Edward Bramah made coffee machines in 1968 and in 1960 modern filter type machines were developed for commercial use. In 1977 Edward introduced the first thermal carafe coffee maker. Later the features were added to the coffee maker and in 1979 timers were added. Then finally the modern day coffee makers were introduced.
